About

Christine is originally from Southern California but attending college in Seattle. She is a mixed Filipina, passionate about issues regarding women of color, Asian Americans, mental illnesses, education, and sexual violence (among many others).

Christine writes prose and poetry, frequently exploring themes of place, identity, race, change, relationships, and extreme emotions. Her writing is sometimes angsty and nostalgic, often metaphorical and alliterative, and always expressive.

When not writing, Christine can be found admiring architecture and other artistic displays, doing something debate related, drinking boba, or playing with her cats. It is also important to note her affinity for black clothing, late night conversations, and sad or sensual indie music.

  1. Hi 🙂 I’m a high school senior and I think your writing is absolutely lovely. I can totally relate to it because I’m so teen angsty like you, but I just don’t have the guts to publish this kind of stuff on the internet. Keep it up – Catherine
